Fred Paxton Fund Run
for Charities:

The purpose of the Community Foundation of
West Kentucky is to improve the quality of
life in Western Kentucky, both today and in the
future.
Each year, the Community Foundation grants
approximately $500,000 to local nonprofit
organizations. The Community Foundation also
works with donors to create and grow endowment
funds that will provide a source of funds for our
community for generations to come.
Now in its 11th year, the Fred Paxton Fund Run
for Charities has been instrumental in helping
build nonprofit endowment funds. Because of
Mr. Paxton's vision and his family's continued
commitment, the Community Foundation will
match donations raised by each organization up
to $10,000, until $100,000 is given away |

Whether you walk, wheel, run or go piggyback,
you are making a difference to our
community when you participate in the Fund
Run.
• As a walker/runner: A portion of your
entry fee goes directly to the nonprofit you
designate.
• As a donor: 100% of your donation goes
to the nonprofit you designate. In addition,
through the Community Foundation, the
Fred and Peggy Paxton Endowment will
make a matching contribution to that
nonprofit's endowment fund. Your donation
can be used today, and the endowment
contribution will provide funds for the future. |
